Photographer's Note

Stepping Stones (Serbian Skakala, more like jumping stones) is something that we see less and less. It was used on shallow parts of river to help people to cross the river. I remember many of these, but right now these stepping stones on river Bunica, just bellow the river's spring are the only one I know still in use, even not adjusted for many years. This part of Hodbina and Malo Polje, two villages connected with river Bunica is still untouched beautiful heaven on earth.I made a quick visit on an early morning of last day of 2013, hope to be here in 18 months or so.
