Such a relaxing, peaceful scene, Daniele. I really like the ivy growing on the homes and the colors of the roofs, as well as just the overall lines of the photo. The tree in the upper right is a bit overpowering, but just a minor point. Well seen!

These old country canal scenes always seem to attact my attention, I suppose because the canals in the new world have been filled and paved over. I think the bridge in this scene is realy the central theme, transversing the fram tying in the two sides. Very nice.

It really is magnificent! A very beautiful corner well captured. I gather you had some lighting problems there (judging from the sky which are probably the result of post-processing and the soft contrast) but you managed to get a good photo out of it. The ray of light on the water in the front (or was it the only area out of the shade?) balances the photo and adds beautiful blue tones.

Great colours. Love the blue reflection on the water and the different colours of the leaves on the building. Nicely captured.

Well captured scene. It seemed to me a little tilted to right or am I wrong? The color of the sky disturbs the beauty of the scene.
The water, the bridge and the tree leaning over the water beginning from the upper right corner adds a real taste to the scenery.
Hoping that you don't mind I added a WS version.

Bonjour Daniele, c'est amusant, une photo du meme endroit a ete postee hier par John (http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Belgium/Flanders/West-Vlaanderen/photo99294.htm), elle est juste cadree plus serree.
Ici la composition est bonne et les couleurs sont bien rendues, le WS de Bulent corrige bien qq petits details, moi j'enleverais encore la partie de maison sur le cote gauche.

Marrant de voir que tu postes cette maison très peu de temps après la photo de John! Le cadrage est parfait et on peu comparer les couleurs de ce lierre quelques semaines avant! Bien vu!

nearly the same shot was submitted by John Maenhout (jhm) on the 13 of oct.
Very good shot. All this vegetation and these old buildings with this nice bridge. The sky is a bit hot and it's a bit unsharp but all other aspects are very good.

I like it.

Un endroit qui doit être très reposant a mes yeux ou in on ressent le calme un seul petit "Truc"manque sur cet prise le petit bruit du ruissellement de l'eau pour nous plonger encore plus dans l'ambiance ;-))

Une balade réservée aux amoureux tout court, ou bien aux amoureux de la beauté qui nous environne. Un moment à savourer,
sans modération.
Laissons-nous aller au gré des canaux nous raconter leur histoire. Si les pierres pouvaient nous parler ! Parfois, il suffit de savoir les écouter. J'arrête ici mon délire Danièle.
Une très belle prise de vue.

Well composed. The stream & bridge add depth & perspective. Good colors too with the red ivy & red rooves accentuating the effect & color contrast with the cooler colors of the canal & green trees. Tres bonne.
