Photographer’s Note

Old fluxing glass in Brussels' town hall windows is distorting the view of King's House, the City Museum of Brussels since 1887.

I was sure the ripples occured due to glass being a 'liquid in the long term' and therefore flowing slowly downward.
After a short read it appears to be a myth. Distorting windows do not signify ages but rather manufacturing imperfections. Pity.

Suggestions to improve post-processing or capturing are very welcome.

you ask for suggestions but I would not know how to improve on this image. it's a great shot. the distortion 'cause of the glass is subtile but totally works and adds interest to the photos. thanks for sharing

Hello Paulius,
Really interesting shot you've taken. At first I didn't like the off centering of the lead light frame, I thought the POV could have been a fraction wider, but it seems, (now I study the shot) to contribute to the quirkiness of the photo. Wht would you want to change it in post, works really well for me.
