Bruges in 3 hours - No.2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We had a long weekend in Reims (some posts to follow)and on the way back we stopped off at Bruges, we had three hours before we had to leave to catch the ferry home, hence the title.
Obviously we only had chance to glimpse some of the sights there but we did have time for a 30 minute trip on one of the canal boats.
This shot is the second in the series.
From Wikipedia.
Bruges (Dutch: Brugge, stemming from Bryggja, which assumedly used to signify "landing stage" or "port") is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located in the northwest of the country.
The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. It is egg-shaped and about 430 hectares in size. The area of the whole city amounts to more than 13,840 hectares, including 193.7 hectares off the coast, at Zeebrugge ("Seabruges" in literal translation). The city's total population is more than 117,000, of which around 20,000 live in the historic centre. |

Very beautifull color and light, also very sharp.thanks for sharing,
regards,
Nikos.
Stephen,
Your composition is fine using the canal to lead the eye through the shot. The boats give the shot a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Asa
