[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Church taken in 9 photographs assembled with autostitch (3x3), I found that the result was good, not like some but like me, beginning in this kind from things. What think about it?

The communal Hotel and the church St-Saver are illuminated lighting nocture of the church of Horion-Hozémont and of the communal Hotel of Hollogne, carried out by Association Inhabitant of Liège of Electricity (ALE), our historical and architectural inheritance emphasizes. 7 INHERITANCE GRACE-HOLLOGNE 2005 www.grace-hollogne.be At the time of the meetings of the communal Council of June 28 and September 6, 2004, the communal advisers confirmed the decisions of the on College échevinal June 1 and August 16 2004 to award these contracts to ALE. The communal Hotel the fact that the frontage is on a roadway system and in a turning constituted already a particular situation. The solution of a shaving lighting, with marked features of light, was preferred with a more uniform total lighting. The engineering departments carried out tests of night to realize of the result. The budgetary considerations of this work were taken into account and a lighting under cornices, most discrete possible of the most visual possible day and of night, was retained. Because of narrowness of the street, it was necessary to make choices on the level of the powers (35 and 70 Watts), so that the illumination is not too intense or aggressive, because it is a building which is seen closely. The result is a very beautiful development of our communal House the night, with its bricks "blood of ox" and its blue stone. The church of Horion-Hozémont, places Deanery In this case, the approach was different since it is a building which must be seen by far. The ALE made its locations in periphery (since the motorway, the viaduct between St-George and Flémalle) to note that the bell-tower of the church appears very clearly. For that, choices were made: work with powers more important (400 Watts), more moved away, starting from the posts of the network of the street lighting, for highlighting well the bell-tower and the church itself. A whole of theoretical calculations were then carried out in order to choose the projectors with their adapted sources and their mirrors, to establish the illumination. Here still, the religious building takes an astonishing dimension, even surreal, night lighting can be regarded as a success.

un travail fantastique, est excellent. La perspective architectonique est excellente et pouvons apprécier tout type de détails de cette splendide oeuvre d'art. Une grande profondeur à travers la file banques et lumière excellente.

9 photographs? wow! that is impressive. i find that using more than 4 gets quite difficult. Still, overall, the result is great. The biggest problems with using stitched panoramas is the fact that different photographs are usually slightly darker/lighter than others. i see that here this is almost non-existent. The only problem here is that the altar is unsharp. this may be remedied by taking the photograph that shows the altar as it is seen here, and cloning the sharp version onto this photograph.

Very nice - this photo has a certain peculiarity to it, I do not know what - maybe it is in the focus or the sharpness. Or in the depth created in the photo. There is just certain something on it, that makes it a bit unique.

well done job with the stitch as nothing from the stitch could be detected, everywhere the same amount of light and well put together. Good light and textures, especially the benches are good.
I assume that the chosen aperture was a bit low, because the view to the altar looses some sharpness in the distance.

Dans ce genre de prise de vue, il y a toujours des déformations de perspective très difficile à éviter.

It may not be perfect, but it is certainly very good, specially for a first stitch, probably shot without tripod and with challenging light. The POV is very well chosen and the exposure is spotless, allowing us to appreciate the beauty and luminosity of the church. The only flaws are the perspective, mainly on the left (the verticals diverge upwards instead of converging) and some blur, which I can't understand if it's caused by the stitch or by a low shutter speed.

I think you did a good job!
The church looks really impressive, shown from good POV.
I cant notice any differences between particular parts of this stitch, maybe a little bit of sharpness was lost in some places but it absolutely doesnt disturb.

Salut Toto
Pour un début c'est très appréciable; Autostitch ne peut faire mieux.
Il est difficile de faire mieux au niveau de l'exposition.
Avec Autopano il est possible d'affiner un peu plus en ajustant les verticales.
Pour cela il suffit de tirer des droites en suivant l'arrête de la colonne de droite et une autre droite sur la colone de gauche et après validation les verticales s'ajustent automatiquement.
Il y a une légère image fantôme sous le lustre à gauche, c'est le fait de ne pas utiliser un tripode; ce problème peut se régler facilement avec Autopano, mais ce logiciel est un peu cher bien qu'il vaille la peine.

La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers l'autel et les vitraux. La courbe de la voute est une bonne addition à la compostion. Le sujet est bien cadré. Il semblerait que le chandelier de l'avant-plan est flou. Un bon assemblage des neuf photos avec le programme spécial. Bonne journée.

Thomas, the shot is fine, the exposure is perfect and I am sure there is way too much lost in the translation to 200kb. All that said I do not think it has the sharpness of your other photos. Overall tho it is excellent.

The first impression of the stitching is that it's been very well done. You did not get distortion thanks to the 9 shots & the stitching. Deatils & sharpness is fine except perhaps in the altar area. Well done!
