The little village of Neerijse. It contains one of the best preserved old village centres in flemish brabant, with some nice old houses, farms and inns.
The two towers date from the 12th century and belonged to the original village church. The rest of the building was rebuilt in the 19th century.
Behind the little chapel in the foreground we can just see part of the big 18th century farmstead that belongs to the nearby castle. |

hello johan,
such an exhilerating view! the cherryblossoms (or is it?) proudly displaying 'the arrogance' of spring! is this a house on the FG or something else (just curious).
cheers,
Benedict

Hallo Johan,
Groeten,
John.
Hi Johan,
a nice spring sight...I like the peach blossoms and the old buildings on the background
well done
