The Woman On The Other Side Photo

Photographer’s Note

Waiting the train on the subway...sometimes taking pictures there are some good surprises, as in this case. When I have seen the picture with my computer, I have seen that with the movement of the train we can see a woman waiting on the other side.
I didn't look for this when I have took the picture, just the movement of the train with a graphic composition and trying to well balance the lights,...but the woman gives something plus to the picture. At my point of view,...tell me what you think.

Hola Javier,
I have to look at your picture because of the title and I was curious to check out the woman on the other side. I think you have great idea of this picture, very interesting POV. did you leave the white bit just on the bottom right there on purpose?

Il est certain que les femmes donnent toujours un petit plus a une photo, ne serait ce qu un peu de mystere ;-)
Sur cette photo, il est clair que ca fournit un bon point d accroche au regard, sans parler du cote symbolique avec le train faisant barriere et flouttant un peu l image.
Tu etais au trepied pour avoir une image nette avec cette lumiere?

Ah ouais! Bien sympa, ça! Lumineux, dynamique, accrocheur.
J'avais essayé, de mon côté, sans le métro devant (cf. workshop), et c'est un peu plus banal...

Hej Javier,
Excellent photo of the passing train. The motion blur is beautiful and the warm tones are pleasant. Like you write in the note, the woman waiting on the other platform is a great inclusion. Very well done!

Sometimes we get lucky with a shot such as this. Well done for catching her and she does not seem to have moved while the shutter was open. Great shot Javier.

Un trabajo de los que gustan, por su creatividad como por su dinamismo, sin duda una forma diferente de captar ese momento, es como mirar a una otra dimensión a través del tiempo.

Hey Javier!

I really like the imposing figure on the other side of the track. It gives the photo an added touch of thoughtfullness (even if it was an accident!). I also really like the layers of texture and lines building up from the bottom of the frame. Good combination of colour and movement.

Hola Javier! Pues sí que le da un plus! La composición es muy simétrica (se ve que la pensaste bien) y la luz bien expuesta (aunque la banda superior está un poco oscura). El juego de enfoque-desenfoque es muy bueno. Y puestos a pedir, la chica podría estar un poco más a la izquierda :-) No sé si me gusta del todo la deformación de los 18mm (supongo) de la foto (que además deja ver un poquito de baldosa blanca a la derecha); sería interesante verlo más deformado aún (pero sin pasarse), aunque eso sería otra foto...

Desde hace varios días tengo esta foto abierta, pero me daba un poco de pereza por un link que voy a poner en la crítica. Y es que resulta que tu foto me recuerda y mucho a una foto que puse ya hace mucho tiempo.

En cualquier caso, me gusta mucho la foto.

Celle-ci est vraiment très belle et puis elle me fait penser à celle-ci... ou encore ici même....
C'est vrai que le procédé me plait beaucoup, il faudra d'ailleurs qu'un jour je l'exploite un peu plus... En tout cas ta photo est de toute beauté...

I don't know how I missed this one...but it's not too late to let you know that I do find this a very good capture. Very artistic, I love the different layers in it, and the combination of colors (I would take away the little white bit:). Great effect of the speed and that woman, well, she's the cherry on the cake.
