[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a second photo of the Charlemagne Building in Rue de la Loi in Brussels. It used to be the headquarters of the Council of Ministers and originally designed by Jacques Cuisinier and constructed in the 1967. However in 1995 when the Council of Ministers moved to the Justus Lipsius Building, more or less on the other side of the street a rebuilding started designed by Helmut Jahn. The original concrete exterior was then replaced by glass. After the rebuilding was completed in 1998 the European Commission moved in. The architecture is very original with a lot of glass and round and irregular shapes, especially on the backside that is seen here.

Amamzing and unusual architecture. It's a very graphic image with wonderful curves and angles. The hint of reflections adds another dimension. Well done

Good morning Ulfe!
I like this modern architecture of buildings made of glass, with a lot of rounded shapes!
I also like the name given to the building: Charlemagne, such an ancient ruler, but after all the first founder of Europe!
The POV and the light effects of your picture are good, and the green of the tree adds a pleasant con, trast.
happy New Year to you!
Marie Louise.
