Maison du Roi III Photo

Photographer’s Note

Every year there is a light show in the month of December in Grand Place in Brussels. This is the third and last photo of the Maison du Roi of a series of three taken in December last year. During the light show the colours of the buildings constantly change colours and even if the city hall might be the most beautiful building in Grand Place the Maison de Roi is the best building for creating spectacular light effects.

Christmas is near - Great winter atmosphere ( I know it's still autumn) excellent colors contrast and quality. magnificent architecture and lights

Very nice composition. The colors are fantastic. I would have liked the shot even better if you captured the building in its entirety (ie with parts of the ground). Still a nice Christmas capture.

I really like your series of photos of illuminated buildings in Belgium!It's often not very easy to capture illuminations! Did you use a tripod?
The effects are great on all three of your pictures and the Christmas tree decorated in white gives a good contast!

Very good Christmas scene! The building is really beautiful and I like the Christmas tree, especially because of the deer. I like the three, colourful lights are very nice and we can see the details of the beautiful building.

Buuuuffff, at first I thought it could be Disneyworld or something like that, but chap this palace looks wonderful with all those lights. Perfect exposure control, no OE, nor UE...simply PERFECT!
