Always within the framework of our day spent on the coast...
Here what for me symbolizes quietude, simple happiness... To assoir itself on a bench on the sun, has to look with far, to two, to look at people on the beach having fun, to see the boats sailing with far and to let themselves carry by its daydreams...
I like much balance that the umbrella gives in the composition.

Yes, the umbrella is vital in this shot. I like the simplicity and clean lines of this photo. It captures the peaceful conversational pose of the couple so well. I went to Ostende a couple of years ago, but in January. It was freezing and dismal! Your scene is so summery. Well done.

The umbrella is absolutely necessary in this photo, not only for balance, but to add a little something extra to give the photo more interest. I love the tight, simple composition. The feet are also interesting. It appears the man in sitting cross-legged.
