Photographer’s Note
Continuing the walk around Brugge...
There are a lot of photos of the beautiful Rozenhoedkaai/Quay du Rosaire on TE,
but normally just of one side,
so i thought i would do a wide-panorama
- this is a stitch made out of 8 photos.
Unfortunately the quality suffers a little bit from
the downsizing, but i hope you will like it anyway.
thanks & have a great sunday! :-)
For the other photos please follow the links to
Brugge no.1 and Brugge no.2.

Hello Thorsten,
When i saw the thumbnail, i was hoping that this was a panorama, as i would very much love to see this corner of Brugge in full detail. And thanks to you that it really is a panorama! And oh yes, I LOVE Brugge, i remember her again with your photo, and in shortest time I hope to visit her again. TFS and you made my day :)
Cheers,
Deniz

Hallo Thorsten!
Ein grandioses Foto - wirklich! Dieser Blick ist faszinierend - und wunderschön! Es gibt soviel zu entdecken in Deinem Bild (besser: Bildern). Toll! By the way:Ist das der Belfried im Hintergrund?
Schöne Grüße aus dem immer noch trockenen Siegen!

Excellent Thor, very very nicely done. Photo is great and the subject is exciting and beautiful. I understand what you mean about the quality but the detail in the LP is pretty god. Great capture(s)

Hi Thor!
The quality suffered? Not from where I am looking! Clicked on the pic and looked at the full view - it's fantastic!
We were talking about my ps work on lens (cloning): now this is something (photostitch) that I don't know how to do!
Cheers

this is a magnificent panorama. In Brazil we would say: "this is collyrium for my eyes". Very well done!

Hi Thorsten,
Excellent image, when the long version is opened can be observed all the details of the scene, great control of the illumination and good level of definition, I like the result, you have a great technical level in this type of images, congratulations.

Hi Thor!
A very nice panorama, indeed! This is, of course, a classic locale for photos, but your panorama opens it up and shows the entire view. I think the quality is still fine, the stitching very good (and a great sky, BTW). A postcard! But what is this? No canal boats in sight! - how could this be!?! ;-)
Well done!
All the best from the San Francisco Bay, Jackie
P.S. My husband and I stayed at the inn that is the white building in the center of this photo. We did not have this canal view (we faced off into the side canal that goes to the right). It was hot and the mosquitoes were ferocious (something I will definitely keep in mind next time I stay near standing water)! I cannot figure out why the Europeans have not discovered the wonderful advantages to be derived from screens over the windows! Cheers.

N'Abend Thorsten!

An excellent panorama, which gives a wonderfull view of the island separated by the two legs of the canal. Nice light and colors, and the downgrading of the sharpness is not so disturbing.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hallo Thorsten,
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hi Thorsten,
this panorama is very attractive to the eye...first: the quality is really good...second: the way you have captured the canal, stretching it to be wider that it actually is, gives a lot of space to you composition...third: the proportions here are excellent...take care...cheers, arturo

Oh yes... I love panoramas, Thorsten... and this is a beautiful one. Spotless stitching and a very good PoV. The soft clouds add some life to the blue skye (one of the few we've had this year), colours and saturation are excelllent.
Very well done. TFS

Great panoramic photograph of Brugge and it's many canals. You chose a perfect day to shoot: sunny and bright, wisps of clouds in the sky, and placid waters in the canals. Great framing. Well done.
