Another shot from Brugge. This was taken in a rather dark alleyway - which was brightly sunlit at the other end. The balance is by no means perfect.

I like this empty scene Roberto. Somehow, the bicycle is a good substitute for a real person as it makes me dream about the person who rides it. I love empty streets as they usually carve a special mood in my mind. Your toning also helps enhancing the special character of the scene and the square format is very effective here to balance the compo. Great light in the cobblestone pavement. I like it!

Hi, Roberto.
I like this place, this scene and this mood...
I'm just wondering if you did not sharpened a little too much (lamp ;))).
Best wishes. Grazyna.

hello
nice street,
good sepia composition, light quite well managed, good framing with the corner in the bottom adjusted on the lines of the street , but not perfectly straight
however it's an interesting picture
regards
jo

Hi roberto !
It is a really good picture indeed ! The light is wonderful as well as the sharpness showing us a detailed pavement.
Well done roberto !
Best regards.

Hallo Roberto!
Againg very nice photo. Nice scene, balanced lights and shades (apart from the bits on the wall which seems bit overexposed), decent noise in this photo...well done!
Best regards,
viktor

Bonjour Roberto,
Voici le genre d'image qui me posait des tas de problèmes quand j'utilisais encore mon labo N&B ! C'est excellent, et je vous félicite pour ce travail. Bravo.
Gérard

Hi Roberto.
Good ideas and good sepia composition.Good point of view.Well Done.TFS
Greetings.

A nice and well composed picture of this beautiful towncentre of Brugge. The velo provides a subject to the frame, and plays a good job, altough I'd place it more in the foreground (and on the left part) of the pix.
But still very nice,
Nico.

Hi Roberto,

Love the mood here. I took a picture at this same place, but the result is quite different. The B&W treatment you gave is very nice, color tones is great. Nice contrasts, for me they're more them fine. Sensible composition, the solitary bike on this nice narrow alleyway.

Regards,

Flavia

Hi Roberto,
Perfect Photo!!!Very beautiful compo and colours.Congrats!!!
Best Wishes,
Deniz:)

Hi Roberto
I like this sepia toning here, the slight grainy effect and that tone makes it look like an old picture, probably also the effect you looked for.
It is difficult not to get the overexposed lamp when the sunlight is at the other end, but have you tried to adjust it in curves? sometimes you can get some pretty decent results that way.
Regards
Harry

Hi Roberto,
I really like this scene. The empty old alley with nothing but a bicycle, an old lamp and many doors. I like the fact that we can't see around the corner, it let's our imaginations do the rest. Very nice composition and great choice for B&W!
Well done!
Regards,
Costa.

It's a nice PP for this picture and this title... I'm remember in 1950...
