We are now entering Zeebrugge harbor, with several differents basins. Here, in the foremost part, the Chilean 4 masted barquentine Esmeralda, which you have already seen very far away during the ctruise. Like us, the ship is waiting to reach her mooring place in the inner harbor.
Two views in worhshop :
- the cadets' mess room, where we used to eat (you can see several of my German shipmates around) : simple food, and better bring you own knife, none was provided (only frok and spoon) since there was not much meat to cut during the meals (except perhaps the piece of hard bacon at 4 am for the breakfast after the night watch...),
- Esmeralda again, taken in the lock at the entrance of the harbor.

Hi Emmanuel,
What a beautiful and graceful ship! Excellent POV and classical composition. I like the fascinating and spectacular details. Splendid shot!
Thank you, nice days
George
Bonjour Emmanuel,
Un bien joli navire que tu nous presentes, J aime bien la texture et la brillance de l eau et les reflets des quatre mâts, le port a l arriere plan donne de la profondeur a l image. Belles couleurs et netteté.
Amicalement
Marilyn

Hej Emmanuel,
A good view of this ship. From a good POV and placed nicely in the composition. I like the contrast between the majestic ship and what seems to be an industrial area in the background (also because of the white-brown colour contrast). The light is pleasant too. Good work!
Hilsen,
Lars
Hi Emmanuel. This photo brings back long lost memories for me, I used to have a jig-saw puzzle of this ship when I was a child. I think also this ship passed our way last year but I missed it! Nice and sharp and well composed. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.
