Photographer’s Note
Taken a few hours ago in Waregem. At THE yearly event in Waregem: Waregem Koerse!
A few centuries ago Waregem was poor. Poor farmers were living there.
Due to railway and highway..., it became an industrial place. Nowadays it is a city with a lot of culture and sport.
So every year 'the poor peasants' are coming to the horse races called 'Waregem Koerse'to celebrate.
Their ladies are traditionally dressed up with too creative hats.
The photo is taken with long shutter speed to get a certain unsharpness to get 'speed'. I like the horse here...
Hope you like it a bit...
Greetings
A poor peasant

Hi Annick
The dynamic effect is astonishing. I like the colors too and the head of the horse.

Great technique to keep the head and body of the horse sharp whilst panning with a slow shutter speed. Wonderful sense of speed and movement.
