No, I didn't made a mistake with the country... It's well an italian police men who was in Belgium (in the street in front my appartement) for the Giro...
In fact, the Giro started in Belgium because it is this year the sixtieth birthday of the agreement "Minors against coal" and fiftieth of the catastrophe of the "Wood of Cazier". Between those 2 dates, lots of italians workers came in Belgium to work in the mines and today, 350,000 italians are living in Belgium.

Hi Fred. Well done with this almost live documentary of the Giro's start. The tight cropping around the polizia stradale motorbike works quite well to focus attention on the main subject (and to get rid of some possibly distracting surroundings, I assume). Nice how the lights on the bike give a bit of a glow on the rainy day.

C'est toujours intéressant d'accueillir des manifestations étrangères en Belgique, J'ai constaté la même chose (Gendarmerie Nationale) lors du passage du Tour de France à Liège. Bien vu !

Bin Rocky, tu fais de la pub pour les "bé èm" maintenant ? Class cette photo bien nette et qui ressort encore mieux sur le fond flou. TU vas être en couverture du magazine des amis des motards italiens ! mdr...
Par contre ton explication de sa présence dans ta note n'est pas explicite à mon goût. S'agit-il d'une grande manif de mineurs italiens etc...

Je paris qu'on va voir qq shots du Giro maintent, non? Tu as de la chance d'avoir vu passer cette grande course, mais c'est bizarre de voir des policiers italiens comme cela dans ton pays... Belle prise très nette, un peu serré en haut. La moto sort très bien de l'arrière-plan. A+

Va bene signore Fred, c'est la fameuse police routière et pas les Carabinieri.
Une photo très insolite; il y a aussi des Italiens et surtout des Polonais dans le Nord de la France.

Tu as sorti ton matos pour le Giro, bien vu, j'imagine qu'il y avait de nombreuses belles choses à photographier !
Tu as très bien saisi ce motard italien, c'est original et puis c'est pas tous les jours qu'on voit ca chez nous.
