Photographer's Note

Most standard shots from Brussels are of the Grande Place, the townhall square with all the fine buildings, or of course of the little statue of Manniken Pis. But the Place de Brouckere which IMHO looks a bit like that famous square in New York is also worth a shot or two. To get this one I had to stop in the middle of the pedestrian crossing and shoot fast. It only stays green for pedestrians for about twenty seconds, so i opnly got one shot of.

It was a grey day, so I enhanced after cropping and resizing by saturating the colours, clarifying and applying unsharp mask (radius 80, strength 18, clipping 1 - an interesting combination).
