Photographer’s Note
This is the Place de Brouckere in Brussels, a bit like Times Square in New York, the place where everything and everybody passes by at one time or another. And outside the Hotel Metropole (a very old fine establishment) they have a pavement café where local and tourist alike can enjoy a coffee or a beer all year round - thanks to some powerful gasheaters placed under the awning. This is one of the ways those of us living in Northern Europe can keep our longing for warmer climates under control during the cold months of the year.
I rotated slightly before cropping, resizing, clarifying and sharpening with the respective auto-enhancements in PSP9.

Very nice photo of this scene in our small country's capital :) I studied in Brussels, it has a special place in my heart.

A good perspective for this docu shot. Interesting as the passersby are just heading to one direction.

Very well seen and composed shot,Per!I like the light contrast between the terrace and the street very much.Seems to be a nice place for a cup of coffee and watching people rushing by!

Sure, we would like to sit here, in this very beautiful "terrasse", precision, lights.
Well done

nostalgic shot, Per. How many times did I sit there, reading a book and drinking a coffee. Nice shot. Good composition and light.

A good street series also, with a nice composition, contrast and colors. The coincidence is that my last photo is also in Brussels. This one is real good and thanks for sharing.
