Photographer’s Note

I know many of us have had too much to eat those past few days, but i could not help but go visit my two favorite chocolate makers in Brussels... Wittamer , the purveyor to the royal family of Belgium and Pierre Marcolini, awarded best chocolate maker in the world a few years ago...

So this will be my contribution to those few extra kilos or pounds (for the beter..haha!). They are delicious, believe me...

Happy New Year (probably again), hope you had a good time here, looks like from this one. Good daily life shot. I think I'd prefer a tighter crop to her right, missing out the table with the distracting red object.

Tu aurais pu decaler ton objectif sur la gauche, histoire d'avoir moins de comptoir et plus de chocolats (ha ha !).
Question: c'etait pour toi la boite ?

et voici le grand angle en action
belles lignes de fuite.
les couleurs un peu tristes
et je regrette de ne pas voir son visage.
bon je suis assé d'accord que le comptoir
ne nous interressent pas vraiment.
je prends un chocolat mais l'image pour moi
ne mérite pas du vert ;p

Hello Eric!

Moi,j'aime bien le côté graphique des lignées de chocolat!
Le grand angle est ici bien utilisé à mon goût!
Mmhhhhhhh,et que le chocolat à l'air bon!!!!!

J'aime bien la perspective mais celle de TL est plus attractive, notamment au niveau des couleurs. De plus, la partie à droite est en trop. Je sais un peu difficile d'y échapper.
J'attends la suite ...

As Oscar Wilde said, I think the best way to overcome the temptations is to fall into them... So I take one of your chocolats...perhaps... uhm... lets say the first one we can see in this well done composition, the one with the ¿flowers? What ever it is I´ll take it. Happy new year for you too.

Wow, new lense, Eric? You must have been so close, that I'm surprised we can't smell the chocolate ;-) You'll need a few visits to the gym.
I think it's indeed a bit a pity that we don't see her face, and may be you should have waited a moment until she had her hand in the air with a bonbon.

les couleurs sont dans les tons chocolatés... mais je trouve les présentoirs un peu vides... la dame est-elle vraiment belge... dans ce cadrage réussi...

après les prâlines il reste les "frituur"
