| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The statue depicting Lange Wapper (a legendary figure that used to haunt drunkards and other wrongdoers) on the edge of the ancient towncenter of Antwerp which has disappeared almost completely last century to make place for embankements. The oldest building on the picture is the "vleeshuis" (guildhouse of the butchers) in the far distance. Building on the left was built in some "neo" style, with a few hints to former buildingstyles. The one on the right is a modern monstrosity and known to locals as the "pedal-wastebin". (see also posting of dingo) |

Cool photo, this angle makes him look as tall as the buidings. It would wonderful to see the details of his face. The shoe looks so interesting that it alone may make a very nice shot. I think the composition would be stronger, if the colors on the buidings on the left had more saturated colors.
Wahoo Quelle perspective !
Très bien vu !
The lanky looking statue is well taken from this point of view. It seems huge and tall and seems to be watching over the city nicely from here. The mix of buildings in the back serves as an interesting backdrop. A mix of times and styles. Perhaps a bit more saturated colors would be nice. Very neat point of view. Good work.
Nice POV, I like the way 'Lange wapper' is dwarfing the buildings.

Hello Walter,
Grea definition and marvelous colors. I like the twisted scale of the compo. It looks like the statue is even bigger than the building on the back.
Well done
