Photographer’s Note
A smart and lovely boy, in the night, at a bonfire.
Shy at the beginning, he opened up later, as you will see in one of my next post. Very dim light.
1250 ISO.
P.S. Following some comments on the boy "sleeping", well he is not ;-), just looking down in shyness, I will show him with open eyes later.

Excellent work. The grain is an added value to this beautiful shot. I really like his expression. Well done.

Hi Merline,
Sweet and peaceful. Nicely composed / framed. I like the dark light the way it is because it goes well with the activity (sleep) - too bright would have been counteractive. But my gripe is with the uneven patches of grains, partially and probably due to the processing of the image. I think that a soft look would have fitted the whole atmosphere better, imho.
stay well,
Cristian

Hi Michèle,
Had seen this shot yesterday and just had to come back.
Very beautiful but also very strange and mysterious. I was picturing how different would it look with a stronger contrast. But at the end, I believe this is just right.
This is my first critique today. Four more to go! :-DDDD
All the best dear Michèle

Hi Michele
He looks very pensive. I like the negative space in front of his face. I also like the softness in his face.
