Hi best friends on TE. Be anxious to know if well what I must do after already the changes here on TE. I have here many friends, and why now break this?
Who help my?
A picture taken sunday afternoon at Maldegem Belgium. These on excursion with horses coaches were a meeting for horses professional, every year meet these menners in the St Annapark. These menner here, are a world champion in its discipline, in America have even been, (not correctly to see on the photograph). These animals have a very high price value.
A pity, was very badly weather Sunday.
This picture I have cropped to a better composion.
I hope you like it.

Nice Jack. The brown color of the horses are engaging. good perspective too. They look like heading on to us.

Picture show, John. A pity for you the bad weather but not for the picture. The light infact is very good and the colors saturation is at the top. I have studied that this is the effect of this kind of weather. Your pic proves what I read was right. The dominant brown is very efficacious. Good deep of field too.

Good dynasmism & diagonals in the composition. Well chosen shutter speed. Fast enough for detail & relative sharpness, but slow enough to catch some blur in the horses feet to suggest movement. Well done, John!

If your color choice was B&W... I would love it! ;)
I make an workshop. I hope you like it!

Something else then John. You made well by having this tight compo of the fine equipage. Well cropped, good focus on the subject. Bold colours - mostly from the fine shoto condition maybe. Well done.

Malgré le manque de soleil, la photo est réussie et le cadrage est très bien vu.
Well done John !

Mooie paarden , mooie kleuren, prachtige samenstelling....is dit nu kritiek of kommentaar?
De hoef van het voorste paard zijn rechterachterbeen is een beetje wazig, dat is duidelijk kritiek. Mooie foto John.

But in this weather you had a soft light, colors are with a nice harmony,I like it,well captured witha great perspectivemand result is with great details, too.nicely composed, and great work you did,John,I like it.
Oldtree (2457) 2004-10-19 14:59
The perspective you chose adds a lot of interest to the composition. With the wonderful colors of the horses you created a very good atmosphere. The overexposed sky doesn't disturb me.

Congratulations with your 8000, John !
Changes or not, this is indeed "another" one from you, I think the weather helps you to make the colours of the horses nice and "full". A nice shot in the rain, but the man is not your friend, he seems very unhappy, but we are your friends here !

Nice diagonal perspective John on the fine horses pulling the old carriage. Bold colors in the well-saturated brown and green hues. Well done, just a small thing - I think your signature takes too much attention here where a smaller one (maybe just reading jhm) would also do.

I like this point of view John! :-) It could not be better that this! Really! You took lovely horses and koets completely and very good even it was on moving!
Great work again.
I see your sign is growed-up. ;-)

Great shot, John. The rich brown colours of the horses are excellent. As Norbert said, the "diagonal perspective" is great. Well seen and captured.

Despite the bad weather you still got a nice shot. John. I like the tricolor bands on their legs. Nice shot.

When the weather is bad is true that is always better to desaturate a picture but yours is well composed. Well done, John!
nchifan (910) 2004-10-21 7:32
I like the perspective... Great colors of horses! I agree Norbert about too wide signature.
