Photographer's Note

Belgian cities along the Meuse are known for their tourist attraction, Namur is one of them.
There are traces of occupation since prehistoric ages. The location is privileged by its position at the confluence of the Meuse and the Sambre.
Administratively, Namur is the capital of the Walloon Region and the capital of the Province of Namur, as such, it is home to many jurisdictions.
The photograph was taken in the early morning and shows the streets of the old part of the city.
Special lighting is the result of the first glimmers of day and public lighting.
