Hello Michele,
The child portrays the feelings that everyone feels for those that have lost love ones and for those that have lost their homes. It is a shame to have lost all that they were known for in that areas, the history is now lost to memory only...
Excellent tones with this B/W...

Cool shot Michele. Your management of this scene really directs my attention to the little girl. I like all the black in the photo. It gives it a moody feel. Nice job.

Tu as trouvé le ton juste et c'est vraiment bien d'avoir pensé à poster cette photo-là précisément - une très belle image, pleine de nostalgie, pour un bien triste événement.
Les tremblements de terre, ça paraît toujours tellement soudain et injuste !
