The Bouillon castle was owned by the lords of Bouillon? The most famous was Godfrey of Bouillon, who inherited Bouillon Castle, who sells it to the Bishop of Liège for 3 marks of gold and 1300 marks of silver in order to finance his participation in the First Crusade.
From the top of the castle you have a magnificent view over the city and the river Semois.
