Photographer’s Note

Hi Christophe,
A well composed and intriguing shot. I really like your low angle view here which captures the gleam on the road and the well seen and textured cobblestones. There are really two scenes here, as the top half of the frame encapsulates the trees and the golden glow of the city. A very artistic, successful shot.

Hello Christophe,
A very nice night shot. The composition is very good. With the light on the street in the foregound and the silhouttes of the trees in the background. A really great job! Greetings,
Ulf

I see you are experimenting in night photography. A technique that gives amazing results. Well, I like your POV and composition. The light is cleverly placed to the top right and gives a nice angle of light. There is a little flare on the lens but this adds to the composition. Not all flare is bad, and some flare actually enhances a photo. The exposure and focus are nice a precise.
good work.

I have heard of the Mamac- it sounds pretty interesting. I really like this night shot- the light on the street stones is perfect. The color in between the trees has this great orange tone to it but it kind of looks like one of those really cold nights to me (maybe thats just because I happen to be cold at the moment- I always let the temperature go to my head). Well, great job Christophe.

Hi Christophe,
very good frame. good hsarpness all across. I wonder how you got that in f/3.5 - even at 18mm?
the emotion that this picture gives me is lonliness. the warm colors opposing the cold night...
(the flare from the lamp is a bit disturbing, maybe you can clone it out).
Friendly,
Udi.

Hello Christophe,
Bien vu

Very nice night shot. I like how the light reflects off the street and stones. You have positioned light (the lamp) very nicely in the frame. And I like this low point of view. Very interesting.
Merry Christmas,
Maciek
