Photographer’s Note

Dear All,
This is my last post on the picture's serie I've made at the American Cemeterey of Henri-Chapelle.
Just before leaving, we saw this old motorcycle parked just in front of the cemetery.
I do not hesitate to try a shot and try to get the American flag on it.
I've converted it to B&W to inforce the old timer aspect.
At the American Cemetery rest 7,989 of American military who gave their lives in the repulse of the German counter-offensive in the Ardennes popularly known as the “Battle of the Bulge”, or during the advance into, and across Germany during the fall and winter of 1944 and the spring of 1945. Others were lost in air operations over the region.
