Photographer’s Note
Here is the belfry of the town called Tournai. This is the oldest one in Belgium. It puts up its blue stones (characteristic of the region) on a height of 72 meters. Build for the XIIth and XIIIth centuries, it burned in 1391. People think the fire was caused by a prisoner. Indeed the rooms inside the belfry were used as prison cells.
On the top of the edifice, by way of weathercock, there is a golden dragon of several meters long.
This picture were taken without tripod, with 800ISO sensibility and at f = 18mm.
