New site Aug 2013: all new pictures


This nice old building found I back in my archive, is to lovely for not to use.

2009 I was on visit in the Wallonia city Mons, I bring very gladly a visit to museums and nice old buildings,
I had most of my life in contact with the construction industry, through studies and I was years in the construction project, last 23 of my career inspection in construction.
The picture;
The Space and Earth Materials museum was established in 1988. It is located in the buildings of the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons downtown. The museum showcases the industrial heritage of the region (earthenware, porcelain, glassware ...) but also the geological wealth (minerals, fossils) in the region of Mons and the rest of the world.
Polytechnologie "was designed by teams of Space" Earth Materials "and SciTech2, the new diffusion cell science and technology UMONS. Since 1 July 2013, these two teams are no longer that a Earth and Space and materials will naturally soon renamed Space Science and Technology. This venue will host interactive exhibits UMONS such as "Waves of History" and other creations coming
