Farm - Where!!! Photo

Photographer’s Note

July 21 Belgian National day, I was with the car on way to France. I am stopped for something to drink, I saw this wonderful image.
I took my camera took this image, I walk to the farm an took a second picture. See WS.
One problem I know not where this picture is taken.
Perhaps can my colleagues out of Wallonia say where this place would can are, between Charleroi and Mettet!

Zou ook in Waals-Brabant kunnen genomen zijn, maar daar was je vermoedelijk reeds door.

Great POV from this field,I hope you got no trouble with the farmer....I like how you composed this image with the gold and green part and this nice partly clouded sky.
The farm a bit out of the center works well for the composition,too.

a pity about the missing location but a luck you did it. The fine line of contrast by the golden and green fields, leading to the houses from the corner of the capture is superb. The great sky makes the final. Clarity, sharpness and framing in high quality.

I can say that this image of a nice landscape, a sky with a few magnificent clouds and a few perfectly saturated colors reminds me a painting of Van Gogh?

Hi John,

The point of view takes us toward the farm buildings. The trees are framing well the farm. The diagonal line of the wall is an asset to the composition. There is a good contrast between the colors of the different fields. Have a nice day.

Hoi John, wat een mooi landschap. Gelukkig is in/rond Charleroi meer dan industrie. U heeft hier opnieuw de lijnen in het landschap scherp gezien en op een harmonieuze manier gekoppeld aan die van deze zeer fraaie hoeve. Mooi en grafisc werk, John.
Een fijn weekend uit een regenachtig en 3/4 bewolkt Rotterdam bij 23 graden.

My dear friend, I had not missed an opportunity to make a shot like this. The strong tones of crops, are outstanding and contrasted beautifully.

The depth of field, provides a magnificent composition, especially with the tones that are reflected from the house, the tree and all clouds in the sky. Nice work.

Dag, John. De scheiding tussen de twee velden vormt een mooie lijn die naar de boerderij wijst. Er is ook een mooi contrast tussen de kleuren van de twee velden en de lucht is ook heel mooi. Wij hebben de laatste dagen geen mooi weer, maar soms is de lucht wondermooi.

Cher John,
Il faut acheter un GPS qui te permettra de te diriger d'une agréable façon et de trouver le lieu que tu traverses. Il fallait, effectivement, s'arrêter et immortaliser cette ferme durant la période estivale où le champ de blé se couche selon le vent.
Une bien belle image qui devrait inspirer les peintres.

After so many critiques, I can not add anything new. You know it's a wonderful photo.
About searching the location, maybe you must wait until "Google Maps Street View" covers this area. I've located some of my photos with the help of "Street View" and "Satellite View" of Google Maps/Earth.
