Charbonnages de Marcinelle dans la banlieue de Charleroi (Belgique).

Baptisé Le "Pays Noir" à cause de ses nombreux charbonnages et terrils, cette agglomération fut le plus important bassin houiller de Belgique avec une production annuelle de dix millions de tonnes (le dernier charbonnage est fermé en 1984), et reste en Europe l'un des principaux centres sidérurgique et verrier.

Coal mines of Marcinelle in the suburbs of Charleroi (Belgium).
