Photographer's Note

Autumn went by unnoticed this year. We had a summer-like Oktober. Most trees remained green until beginning of November. Then all of a sudden leaves were on the ground and temperature is now below 0°C. Winter starts already. Yet I met Autumn just long enough to get the picture here.

Philippe, est soudain autre conditions atmosphériques, cette demain 1,7 C en Flandre. Une jolie image avec nouveau le blé à l'avant-plan, aussi colorer la forêt avec l'automne brillant à l'arrière-plan. Une jolie image d'automne tranquille avec les couleurs douces.

J'aime les églises (c'est un fait) mais j'adore également la nature. Ici, mes yeux se réjouissent de ce spectacle propre à l'automne antichambre de l'hiver. J'aime ces couleurs douces et délicates sur un ciel chargé de nuages qui s'étirent mollement au-dessus de cette campagne accueillante .
Très belle réussite.

J'aime bien cette prise de vue. Ce massif d'arbres aux couleurs automnalescontrebalance visuellementla différence de niveaux du paysage de la droite, qui est plus élevée avec cet arbres sans feuilles...
Beau paysage vallonné bien mis en valeur.

Unfortunately Autumn it’s not something very interesting around the area I live. Few trees, with a poor yellow and that’s all.

Nice landscape image with the agricultural fields crating several crossing layers through the framing. Also like the panorama format, and in this case I even think that the horizon in the middle of the frame works well. A bit more contrasts and reducing the brightness could work well to create a stronger and more comfortable atmosphere.

I think that's about how last autumn went here Philippe. But this autumn we had a very nice one. Perhaps your next one will be better. Non-the-less you captured a very autumn atmosphere here. Although, yes, it does have a summer warmth about it still. The trees and sky give an autumnal feel while the ground gives a spring like or early summer feel. So you get a nice clash of warmth and coolness side by side in this shot as the season does change over. And for the field and trees itself, it all has nicely used lines that sweep the eyes across and into the scenery.

A very nice Autumn photo, Philippe; the scenery is beautiful and calm, but I like mainly the composition, very good. I like the fields with different colours, lines and shapes, as I also like all those trees in front. The tree at our right adds something special and good to the global result that pleased me very much!
