No Wide Angle... Photo

I didn't use a wide angle for this one. Nor is the horizon tilted. In the Hesbaye Brabançonne region (agricultural area south-east from Brussels), horizons sometimes are just like this...

Je n'ai pas utilisé de grand angle pour cette photo. L'horizon ne penche pas non plus. En Hesbaye Brabançonne (région rurale au sud-est de Bruxelles), on voit parfois des horizons comme ça. Tout simplement.

Voor deze foto heb ik geen breedhoeklens gebruikt. Evenmin staat de horizon scheef. In (Waals-)Brabants Haspengouw (een landbouwstreek ten zuidoosten van Brussel) tref je nu eenmaal dergelijke horizonten aan...

Hi Erik. Nice photo. If you need to “go wide” and have no wide angle lens then you could try stitching two or more images together. Nice work on this image though. I love the colour and minimalist composition. Thanks for sharing.

Dag Erik,

een supereenvoudige maar zeer geslaagde compositie, slechts enkele lijnen tekenen het landschap. Contrast is goed zo maar met een polarizer (mijn favoriete stukje glas ;-)) had je wel nog een mooiere hemel gehad (ik weet het, het is een beetje valsspelen...). Een zeer rustgevende foto. TFS

This shot has a great feeling of space and light. The sky seems to go on forever and I find the curved horizon attractive.

Simple beau et bien réalisé.De plus j'apprécie le naturel des couleurs.La composition est originale et cette courbe me berce après un repas arrosé et lourd à digérer.

encore une de tes belles compositions graphiques de paysage! Bien vu, j'aurais vraiment cru que tu avais un wide angle. Superbes contrastes de couleurs entre le vert et le jaune des champs, . Le ciel vous saute au visage par sa brillance. J'aime beaucoup.
Perso, je n'aime pas trop les noms etc sur les photos, mais c'est peut-être pour la protéger ?

Dag Erik,

Ik ken deze streek en ik weet perfect dat uw horizont is zoals de werkelijkheid.
Mooi gescheiden tarwe veld met het groen gras van de weide, geflakeerd door een mooi wolken hemel.
Goede samenstelling, bedankt voor uw bezoek.

Excellent image Eric. I like the contrasting green and gold of the field. The slope horizon is just brilliant with sparsely populated trees and the puffy cloud takes care of the saturation in the sky. Well done and best regards. Jusni
