Photographer’s Note

A scene captured during that festival I spoke about here. During one of the musical stops a father plays with his child.

A music festival took place in my village the first week-end of september. It is called 'le temps des pommes' (Apples time). The afternoon was organized in a funny way : Spectators were supposed to come with a bicycle and were to follow a bus. From time to time the bus would stop in the fields and a concert would be given on a stage placed on the bus roof. Fortunately the weather was sunny.

A very funny picture with the kid as real eye catcher, the blond father and blond kit have a lot pleasure with are broken tire.

J'aime cette photo pour le rapprochement des générations et surtout par les regards muets échangés. La posture de l'enfant est parfaite pour donner l'émotion, une peur feinte et une confiance en l'adulte !

Nice capture and composition! It's a very funny situation. I can almost see the expression of the child in reaction to the provocative father...
I love the way all bikes are spread around, giving an atmosphere of feast. Very good lighting and colours, as well.

Hi Philippe, A nice shot of the family fun picture. Although we cannot see the child's face. It is no mistake to guess that this is a play between the father and his baby. A very well taken fun and enjoyable daily life scene.

Plein de tendresse dans ta composition. les couleurs vont bien avec ce sujet et ce petit blondinet.

Hi Philippe. That's not very nice what he's doing! :) I used to do that to my dog and he'd try and bite the bike pump. You managed the bright light well. I like it all and wouldn't change a thing. Nicely done Philippe!

Hi Philippe - Yes I remember the funny photo of musicians at the top of a bus - You capture a lovely moment of this father and son situation - I can image the face of the young child getting a pffff - thanks for sharing.
