Photographer’s Note

A music festival took place in my village the first week-end of september. It is called 'le temps des pommes' (Apples time). The afternoon was organized in a funny way : Spectators were supposed to come with a bicycle and were to follow a bus. From time to time the bus would stop in the fields and a concert would be given on a stage placed on the bus roof. Fortunately the weather was sunny. (See the workshop for a global view.)
This concert was very funny despite the stern faces of the musicians.

Il en a une mine patibulaire le guitariste ;)
Le look des deux musciens valait bien une photo.
J'ai tenté un WS pour les replacer dans la composition.

Hi Philippe, I like this shot of the funny looking musician couple. The PoV added some funny mood to this scene. Thanks for the WS to provide a good sense of hoe this one taking place. It is pity for the dull sky color. However, it provided a good contrast to the outline. I enjoy this shot very much. Thanks for sharing.

Goedendag Philippe,
Ik zal eens antwoorden in het Nederlands, maar vervolgens in een Frans of andere taal.
Bedankt voor dit eens te doen, zo kan men van elkaar leren.
Ik versta voldoende frans maar schrijven is moeilijker dan spreken, soms probeer ik het wel eens.
Uw foto en zeker goed, de WS is een goede zaak om eens te laten zien wat er precies aan het gebeuren was. Hij is scherp en plezierig om naar te kijken.

Cela a du être une journée amusante, et la photo que tu offres donne une bonne idée de l'évènement.
Ces deux figures musiciennes, surtout à gauche est un sacré personnage... Un portrait serré devrait faire un tabac dans ton portfolio :-)))
La contre plongée va bien, cadrage parfait.

Bonjour Philippe,
J'aime beaucoup cette prise de vue qui ne manque ni d'humour, ni de talent pour ce cadrage serré représentant deux musiciens qui ne se prennent pas au sérieux.
Un peu de joie dans ce monde de brute, cela fait du bien.

Good details in the capture P. A fine placement of these mucicians where for once the washed out sky is perfect to present all details. The big guy with the little guitar - just great - and what a dressing of these folks. Well done.

A funny catch indeed - I like the little sad looking man - He reminds of a local actor/singer which I actually got some shot of as well - thanks Philippe for sharing this event.
