Exceptional weather situation in Belgium.
Usually we might have some snow (not more than 15 cm) once every 3-5 years. Mostly in the month of January of February.
The morning sun announces the warmth of the day already and the stones on the terrace show their pattern. Still there is a dramatic sky to remember the treath of more snow or rain.
I notice quite late that I haven't put any photo of my home (town). This is a view into my garden which is about 17 years of age since lawn, plants, trees, terraces, light poles, ... were planted.
My home town is a quite small town of about 40.000 people and very close to the border with the Netherlands. But we have a lot of facilities of all kind: Lots of restaurants and bars, traffic free shopping streets, Movie Theatre (8 theatres), 2 hospitals, lots of Supermarkets, 5 musea, Impressive Stage Theatre + Library, free summer festivals (terrace performances, Friday music performances, carillon evenings) 5+ high schools, too much churches, Sports centres and parks, ... |
