You've achieved a mysterious compo here, Michele, thanks to the combination of a sharp fg on the sand, and a blurred bg, esp. the two girls in motion (or is it just the same girl, twice in the frame, I keep asking myself). The exposure is attractive too. Well done, Daniel

Bonsoir Michele,
Bon WE

Hi, Michèle. I thought this was Inn's series! I really didn't realize it until I opened the image. You two could do a collective show. I assumed they were twins, because of the TE rules, but most would assume it was a Photoshop, naturally. Beautiful either way, but more special because they were two real individuals. Excellent photo. Best, -Hugh
Very strange and enigmatic if not mysterious scene...
Twins - are you saying ? Thought it's kind of mirage... sequence of motion... or something like that :))
Like the idea and realisation. F/22 ? Oh la, la... :))
Great photo for the beginning of astronomic summer :))
Greetings T.

Hello Michele,
Very enigmatic these two figures, taking their place at the waters edge. It is the sea and the girls which are blurred but, in this world you have created, it is the sand which appears unreal - so clear and highly detailed.
The touches of red are perfect against the silver.
Best wishes...Maggie

I love the note you choose Michele...it reminds the old song written by Syd Barrett...:)
I love also your photo, how became the frame blur from the clear sand in front. The two girls of course are the eye catcher with their motion great captured by your camera...
I enjoy your image very much!Fascinating photography!
I wish you a fine week,
Hugs,
Thomas

Hi Michele,
I don't know how but from thumbnail I thought that little two kids were familiar to me... It is possibly because of beach scene that you used in your "1, 2, 3 under the sun" photo.
Your blurred figures are amazingly stand in perfectly clear place. Sea and sand, calls nice memoirs from last summer. Hope to reach that peaceful moment very soon..
Very nice work I like a lot.. Congrats,
Burcu

Hi Michèle,
I've been lamentably inactive on TE recently so I've missed a lot of pictures :(
This is a very striking and interesting image, quite surreal. I think it's largely due to the motion blur that creates a kind of halo around the girls as though you had captured their souls, reminscent of Kirlian photography. I like the visual simplicity of this one compared to the other shot but I'd be interested to see what this would look like with the same highkey BW treatment to reduce the impact of the sand.
Take care,
John

Bonjour Michele,
A bientot,
Branko

hello Michèle,
unusual photo, but I have to say I like a lot the combination of sharp foreground and strong motion blurr, the result is fascinating. the identical clothes of the kids make me think of the "Brave New World", one of the most powerful books that I know. minimalistic composition works well to create a "clean" image, very interesting work.
regards,
Kristine

Marc

Have a wonderful summer, Michèle! Speaking for myself I have just returned from my summer vacation and I gained new energy, met wonderful people and saw fantastic scenery, so I wish you too that you come home with a basket full of everything. It is necessary to stop TE every once in a while, and I had a crisis before I left and wanted to throw out the whole stuff. Before it comes that close, you rather stay away ... and hopefully return with a load of just this ... sand, sea, children playing. This is pure photo art and sometimes I wish I would find postcards just like this one, sending them home to my best people. Barbara.

Hi Michele,
A starnge shot....but it has worked well I should say. My question is - how could you acheive motion blur and normalcy in the same image?( the girl to the right has a motion balur at the top toso, but her legs seem to be perfectly erect.)
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Hi Michele!
Great capture, an amazing shutter speed with great lighting for such a scene.
Very well caught!
Kind regards
Paul
hello michele
interesting ambience! kind of psychodelic in a sense... i guess, for it to play out fully on my sense i would have preferred more luminosity on the foreground. if i managed to get my hands on a CS2 later, i'll try to demonstrate what i mean.
with compliments,
kristaps
