What a lovely shot you have here. Very interesting to see how the cobbled street change patterns at the corner. And the stone used is also different from one side to the other. I guess the tower we see in the middle is the one you mention in the note. The f20 created an amazing DOF. Well done.

Hallo John,
Alleen met een full frame en zo'n groothoek krijg je dit beeld, prachtig, heel goed opgebouwd in het perspectief met een sterke diepte werking. Mede versterkt door de steentjes in de voorgrond, die dragen daar mooi aan bij.
Voor mij bestaat f20 niet (hij is er wel natuurlijk) en gebruik dit dan ook nooit. Het is uitsluitend f16 en in uiterste nood f22, maar zelfs daar ben ik niet van gecharmeerd. Leuk dus om vaak bij jou f20 te zien ;-)
Ik kijk helemaal links, in die boom, repeterende patronen, iets gekloond daar?

This is an excellent shot with great composition and POV. The cobblestone street wrapping around the house leads the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The house is framed nicely by the trees and the great blue sky forms a nice backdrop for the shot.

Il kent ook deze hoek van het dorp met deze mooie typishe huis van de Polders. Een zeer mooie photo met een goed POV en een rike samenstelling: pavés, huis, kerk (een beetje), canal. Een zeer goed werk.

Lissewege, nog nooit van gehoord!! We hebben in het zuiden des lands ook een wit dorp, en ook daar een kerk maar niet zo een grote als jij hier beschrijft. Wat een interessant verhaal over hoe het geheel tot stand is gekomen. Mooi verhaal en ook een mooie plaat met die bocht in de voorgrond.

quelle luminosité cette photo et même si les lumières étaient très complices, il fallait encore pouvoir bien les capturer.
Ce que tu fais d'habitude avec pas mal de prouesse technique.
Un cadrage excellent qui montre un endroit trsè propre.
