I got these information of a neighbour of this castle.

History;
The castle was around 1328 called "Cate Line", the first known owner, Catelyne Coudeceucken. The castle is fully equipped with a basement. In 2005 the estate was sold by public city Bruges. The castle was completely restored by the new owners in 2006 and was renamed "the Chateau Beau Sart". The ground floor is now used as restaurant and banquet hall, on the upper floors are private apartments and hotel rooms.

Dag John,

A very nice edifice and a superb shot with a good harmony in the colors. These colors arise very well under this beautiful blue sky. POV and FG very well selected give a very nice prospect and a great depht to the image. Image rich in details very well colected.

Goedemorgen John,
De herfst is duidelijk in volle gang bij jullie. Ik heb hier nog niet zo heel veel kleuren gezien omdat ik geen tijd heb gehad/gemaakt om rond te kijken.
Een mooie compositie met vele roodtinten. Heb je hier gebruik gemaakt van een hoge iso waarde of een andere bewerking uitgevoerd op het kasteel, het lijkt zo grofkorrelig?

The lovely brick built château sits beautifully under that gorgeous sky. The leaf strewn path makes a lovely lead line inviting us to enter and explore further. Very good natural looking colours and excellent sharpness.

THe path leads our eyes toward the castle. The point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the architecture of the St-Andries castle. The trees are framing well the castle. The nice sky is sending s light ehich is enhancing the colors. Have a good weekend.

Looks like a fairy tale castle. It is interesting to see how the colours fills up this frame, even on the leaves on the driveway which appears undisturbed by any passing vehicles. A pretty scene indeed.

Bonjour John,

Ce magnifique château semble se fondre dans les couleurs automnales déjà bien présentes ici. J'aime beaucoup ton point de vue qui inclut ce tapis de feuilles mortes au premier plan et donne une bonne profondeur à l'image. Le contraste avec ce ciel bleu est bien agréable. Belle utilisation du grand angle, bravo John.
