I found these picture in my archive, this image is made 2011.
I took has been these picture to Sijsele, 6 km of Bruges, along the old railway, now a lovely bike path.
Alone the old lanterns are yet the original of the station 50 year ago.
The blossoms give an extra touch at these picture, and also colorfully.

History:
Around the turn of the century, the Belgian Railway Company line already and relegated them to a local sidelines. In the timetable of 1904, the line still numbered as line 57. In the timetable from 1935 to the present numbering line 58 to see. Along with the advent of the automobile heralded the decline in this. The last passenger train departed on February 26, 1959 around 21.30 to Bruges, then the passenger traffic was taken over by buses. In the same year the freight between Sijsele and put Assebroek stop. In 1962 the track broken. From the other direction remained between Donk and Sijsele still only military transport to Sijsele, but this was stopped in 1962 and shortly thereafter were put here the trace broken. Between Bruges and Assebroek was stopped in goods put on 1 August 1967. A year later, also the rails broken.
