This little house with number 16 is one of Lissewege's cutest. You'll find other pictures of this house in the Lissewege gallery, including some by rodgerg and an earlier one by yours truly. I hope this is a worthy addition to the series.
LISSEWEGE is a typical Flemish polder village. A polder is low-lying land enclosed by dikes.
Though locked between the port of Zeebrugge and the rather busy road to Bruges, this little white charmer is a nostalgic reminder of times gone by and counts as one of the most beautiful villages in Belgium.

Hello Benny ,
I'm always interested by rural architecture , and this is a superb example here . The post of Rodberg was very good , a tight framing of the façade . You've chosen a diagonal perspective , that works very well . And I think that this one is much better than the previous one with the entire house , its beautiful roof and chimney .

Beautiful typical house!
Sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, colors, vertical format, black & white & grey borders, contrasts, composition and pp are all excellent!
TFS - congrats,

Ik zou er niet aan denken om dit in portret-formaat te nemen, maar toch geeft dit een mooi effect, vooral omwille van het contrast met de blauwe lucht.
De 16 in de wetstraat is wel wat luxueuzer :-)
