Photographer’s Note
This is the center of Damme. For those who don't know it, it is a very small town. Behind me lies the canal you saw in my previous shot of the town and here in the background you already see the tower of the town hall and the central square.
Damme has lots of historic buildings and is surrounded by lots of fields; it is very known by cyclists and for its gastonomy. As you can see, there are lots of terraces and when it's warm and sunny, these terraces are cramped with tourists.
If you turn 180 degrees from the point where this picture is taken, you see the mill and the canal: here.
If you want a closer look on the townhall: here
I hope you like these small views on my home town.

Hendrik:
These little villages in Belgium are so nice. It's the sun that doesn't show them enough respect. I wish I could spend more time on terrraces in Belgium
Thanks for sharing Damme with us.

Dag Hendrik,
Mooie foto.
Groeten ... Tars

I do enjoy then Hendrik. You live in a very picturesque town and you are doing a great job skillfully recording the place you live on "film". Good POV showing a lot of depth and good light. You have a good grasp on how to utilize the best lighting I think.

Salut Hendrik,
Bon week end,
Jean-Yves

Hi Hendrik,
A well composed shot of this part of your home town, which is very picturesque. I like the colours and flow here. The eye is taken nicely around the curve of the walkway down the road. The two people walking enhance. The architecture is very beautiful, and all appears crisp, clean and neat. One can almost breathe and feel the autumn air. This looks like a very appealing spot in which to live. Well captured, Hendrik.

Bonjour Hendrik,

Mooi werk Hendrik,
John.

Your home town part 4 has one pespective line showing the row of homes on the street. I am drawn to this photo because of the multi perspective lines together. Such depth to the photo by including a peek through effect. Your 730UZ is capturing nice detals for you too. Good lighting and a pleasure to see. Thanks for posting!
