The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, it is sometimes referred to as "The Venice of the North".

Beautiful capture of this lovely Flemish architecture that is seen in brilliantly mid day light that brings out all its intricate details and fine lines.
Lovely blue sky backdrop with the tourist boats adding effective scale and nice reflections in the river.
