Photographer’s Note

Most of the tourists stay in the centre of Bruges. But there are quieter spots.
For example if you walk to the east you can enjoy a riverside walk, along which there are several windmills from the XIII. The windmills are high on a hill, like this one.

Very nice picture with a straightforward composition. There is a fine bit of contrast between the dark grass and the bright sky which really brings out the windmill as well. The sky looks magnificent although there appears to be a bit of vignetting in the upper left corner.

Hi All,
As an ordinary tourists I stayed at the city center but next time, I'll visit these windmills:)You low POV makes the windmill very attractive.

i like how the pattern of the wings dominates this one. nonetheless, i feel a square format would be nicer. there seems to be too much 'dark waste' at the bottom of the frame.
