Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken during a hard period in my life, when some tough decisions needed to be made.

One day when I was walking around Brugge and trying to figure out where my life is taking me, I saw this balcony and I couldn't help not to stop and stare at it for a while.

I saw two figures sitting on the opposite side of the balcony; together, but at the same time far apart from each other...just being there...existing...NOT living...only existing. And I saw myself in one of those two figures.

In that moment I realized that I need to change my life, because life without love is not worth living.

We live because we love and we love because we live. When everything else in life fails, only love can save you.
