Photographer’s Note
A postcard style shot from Ghent.
It was Sunday and everybody was out to get what little sun and warmth was available in May. (There was even beach volley ball on in the main square.)
Down by the river the crowds were enjoying life, food and beer as you would expect along such a beautiful stretch of river.

Hello Ian,
A pleasant photo, well rendering the vacation atmosphere as well as the beautiful buildings with fine colours and light in both sunny and shadow areas.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Ian,
A nice shot of my home town! I was born in Gent and lived there for 23 years. You were lucky to have the sun. This was the harbour of Gent in the Middle Ages.
A pitty that you missed Luxemburg. Next time you come to Europe you should visit it. Let me know and I'll show you around.
Greetings
John

Hello Ian,
The frontages and their multiple windows are of an excellent graphics. Framing is quite selected, to also describe obviously happy serene people. I like these bright colors and natural. The sky is sumptuous. congratulations.
Have a nice day.
Cordially.
