These picture has been taken yesterday forenoon after a very cold morning minus 5 degree Celsius.
These place is on 15 km of my home, this is nice health bike trip.
You can see the creek, one of the most beautiful of the area, this countryside is quiet and very pleasant for fishing, alone during the summertime.
In background between the trees is a little bit fog, I love these atmosphere, this makes the picture more attractive.
The Bentillekreek is a creek in Sint-Laureins.
Despite the name, the Bentillekreek closer to the center of Sint-Jan-in-Eremo than in the center of Bentille. In the Meetjesland this is the only creek, of this size, on the south side of the Leopold Canal lies. Through this channel it is separated from the Mazur Creek. The Bentillekreek is unlike most other creeks in the sand area, which is also the riparian vegetation (or lack thereof) determines.

Hello John,

This land looks ideal for biking, unlike my home area which undulates like the back of a camel.
What strikes me is the beautiful light. The low sun at this time of year is perfect, it has made soft illuinations in the water and lit up the riverbank with golden colours.
The trees on the bank are a master stroke, creating a fine sense of depth and linking well with the focal house.

Gisteren was het echt een prachtige dag. Dat kan je hier duidelijk zien aan de blauwe lucht en aan het mooie licht dat de vele bomen en de beide oevers zachtgekleurde tinten geeft.
Deze foto ademt rust en kalmte uit.
Mooi gekaderd met de drie bomen en hun weerspiegeling aan de rechterzijde.

Hello John,

You certainly get out and about with your bicycle! And an excellent way to keep young and fit as well as being able to explore the countryside much better than by motor car.

And this is a beautiful early morning picture, the soft mist still clinging to the distant trees and the sun striking through beautifully on the red roof of the distant house.

Lovely soft light, beautiful spring-like colours and exquisite details and sharpness.

The wideness and the length of the creek is giving depth to the composition. Thew point of vuew is showing the details and colors of the house and of the trees. The nice blue sky is sending a light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello John,

You're capturing well this landscape by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see quiet natural scenery of the suburbs. There are the row of winter tree and the riparian vegetation on the both banks through which a large canal flows. And, the tall trees at right side draw out a good impact in this image.

Your photo shows another wonderful place of your region - and it especially transmits calm and peace. You have had a very attractive light that morning. I like especially these trees right hand. deve essere molto piacevole vivere a pochi colpi di pedale da questa meraviglia!
Anche se la temperatura è rigida in inverno la vista è molto piacevole e invita alla contemplazione.
Un posto che devi amare moltissimo se hai messo tanta cura nel riprenderlo.
Un vero piccolo angolo di paradiso che persone, come me, che vivono in città, non hanno facilmente la possibilità di godere, costretti come siamo a vivere di smog.
Una bella composizione, equilibrata e dai colori sfumati e piacevoli grazie anche all'aiuto della leggera foschia.
Complimenti doppi: per la foto e per l'ubicazione della tua casa.
