New site Aug 2013: all new pictures

I wish everyone a nice weekend.

I was the last week regular in these area the nature is simple wonderful through the a lot colours.
You can see the little bit fog above the low green branches, this cares for a nice atmosphere.
Also the man with his two dogs in background along the path

Nature point started here in 1999, the LIFE-Nature project Intermediary Atlantic heaths.
Natuurpunt Maldegem-Knesselare performs since 1993 heathland restoration management with the help of an active volunteer group.
The management consists of at transforming pine forest to oak, birch and heather.
Galloway cattle, small independent cattle from Scotland ensure that the sprouting grasses, brambles and saplings this unique heathland do not fully heal up.
The Maldegemveld is part of the European network of important nature Natura 2000.
This area enjoys the support of the Life Fund of the EU
