Photographer's Note

It was a very short visit to this beautiful country on our way to India. We had a day to see this beautiful Brugge. After finishing the boat ride , we were walking and found some colorful doors. Here are 2 such doors with numbers 9 and 11

A pair of attractive doors surrounded by some rather beautiful brickwork, the details of which are nicely brought out under a pleasant ambient light. I like these small architectural detail compositions; very well presented.

Hello Lakshmi,

You're capturing well this architecture by a composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see two doors with different red colors. It's interesting that one is bright red and the other is dark red. These are harmonized well with the wall of bricks. And, the shadow projected to the upper doors draw out an additional good effect.

The 9 11 title is alwyas intriguing, but the meaning here is completely different, fortunately, Lakshmi.
Red and brown is fine contrast against the wall's with same colors but a lighter texture's.

Hi Lakshmi,
Two red doors but a slightly diiferent hue of red. No cooperation between the two houseowners result in a slight clash of colors. A very fine picture though!

Hi Lakshmi,
an excellent composition based on a good close-up on both doors, with its a bit different red tones, under a nice game of light and shades.
The image has a perfect exposure in spite of the harsh light, and a few vivid colors.
The numbers of these two houses are 9 and 11, it is just a coincidence, but they evoke us a fatidical date for NYC and for the whole world.
