A view from the country-side on the village Bassevelde, at about 5 kms. from my home. A very common view in Flanders : a church surrounded by houses and fields, this is Flanders away from the cities...

Impressive lighting. Love the shadows of the trees.

Hello Luc,

The low winter sun has created an interesting, glowing light and lovely tree shadows.
It is an interesting composition which is viewed from right to left , following the line of the trees and buildings rather than having a lead-in.
I like the soft blue of the sky and the pillar box red of the roofs.
