[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A view on the village Bassevelde, only 3 kms. from our home. Of course, also this time I included some trees... Our region is a very flat country, only "disturbed" by dikes and trees. Photo has been taken about one hour before sunset, superb moment for beautiful colors in a picture.

Hi Luc,
An excellent composition combining strong vertical and horizontal lines in a perfect divison. I like the pastel colours too, particularly the fresh green. The spring already seems to come to Belgium.

Love the foreground trees effect and the farness of the small village. The vastness of the field balances with the vastness of the sky. Very effective.

Dag Luc, Het licht is hier fabelachtig met deze fantastische kleuren als resultaat, schitterend. Ik apprecieer je creativiteit voor een beetje een andere compositie en het werkt. Ik denk dat ik de camera nog wat meer naar links zou gezwenkt hebben zodat je een boom of 3-5 meer had. Maar geen idee of dat echt beter zou zijn. Terwijl ik hier zit te kijken vraag ik me gewoon het resultaat af. Misschien moet je eens gaan proberen :). Ik vind dit alweer schitterend werk hoor! Sabine

You're right; the late sun casts a wonderful golden light on the scene. The inclusion of the trees on the left is a master-stroke for, as beautiful as the village looks in the distance, the image would have lacked interest without them.

Hi Luc, een schitterend lukie-werkje maar toch iets anders dan wat we gewoon zijn. Mooie kleurencombinatie waarin het torentje prachtig uitkomt. Veel diepte met bomenrij links.
De lucht is wel vrij donker (maar dat zijn we laatste dagen weer gewoon)

Hoi Luc,

Prachtig zicht met schitterende kleuren hier. Het licht vind ik hier erg bezonder en zorgt voor een warm gevoel. De compositie is erg goed met vele details en enorm goede scherpte. Schitterend werkje, Luc!
